A couple of years ago I had set up a wifi system around my house but it was down, I am thinking of making another one and I am going to name it "wifi republic".
I am going to re-organize my blogs too, now I am testing some templates, trying and testing them at this stage. I am trying to fully utilized the latest blogspot editor. Not doubt that they are better with many needs that are taken care of. However the new blogspot editor lack fluidity where we can used different blog templates for different categories of posts or entries.
However I had thought of this new format. Try anak matlesen to see the new format. The present PERWI is slightly messy as I had attempted to master the new blogspot editor. I think by doing that I had taken extra "memories".
I am still in the learning curve and I may not proceed with the present idea for I have to evaluate either to follow the existing system that blogspot new editor provide or do the necessary such as amending the html on the free template that I had obtained satisfactorily to get a system that I want.

— PRESS STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE BY AMERICK SINGH SIDHU —
AMERICK SINGH SIDHU
I have been made to understand that Mr. Balasubramaniam a/l Perumal has issued a statutory declaration at a press conference held at the Prince Hotel at 11.00 am this morning, retracting his earlier statutory declaration affirmed on the 1st July 2008.
The reason given for this retraction is that his original statutory declaration, recorded by myself, was “compelled to be affirmed under duress”.
No details of this alleged compulsion and duress have been put forth. Mr. Bala is reported as not answering when asked this morning in his press conference who was it who intimidated him.
For the record, I confirm that the statutory declaration affirmed by Mr.Bala on 1st July 2008 which he released yesterday was affirmed voluntarily before a commissioner for oaths Dr. T. Yokheswarem and in my presence.
I first met Mr. Bala in the presence of a few other persons in a restaurant about two months ago where he asked me to assist with preparing a formal document incorporating some evidence that had not been presented in the ongoing Altantuya trial. I started the process about two weeks after that. I would have met him a few times where I recorded in long hand, what Mr. Bala told me. . . . full Press Release
Why Balasubramaniam's First Declaration Is Still SignificantAnd the winner is………..
Anwar Ibrahim - will he be the next PM?
But then this will only happen if Anwar does not pull a coup. Anwar had boldly proclaimed many times that he will form the new federal government by Malaysia Day, 16 September 2008, and that at least 30 Barisan Nasional Members of Parliament are waiting in the wings and ready to cross over. The race was on. Either Najib pushes Abdullah out before 16 September or else he will be pushing Abdullah out just to become the opposition leader in Parliament and not the Prime Minister of Malaysia. . . more

Raja Petra asked to report to the Sentul Police Station
Malaysia Today
Raja Petra Kamarudin
Raja Petra Kamarudin has been asked to report to the Sentul Police Station at 5..30pm today, Saturday, 5 July 2008.
He received a phone call from ACP Aziz that the police want to record his statement in relation to the Statutory Declaration he signed on 18 June 2008.
PM: Police, army exercise nothing to worry about
"Malaysia is safe and stable. Please don't get overexcited about what is happening. There are a lot of rumours. Please don't believe them. Don't panic, " said Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi after chairing the Northern Corridor Economic Region board's first meeting today.
On the matter of rallies, he said: "Then there is the matter of rallies... which are being done by Anwar. People join these rallies, but when the situation looks like it's getting unstable, they get scared and start selling (shares) and such. I don't understand this." . . more
Director of Military Intelligence Lt Gen Dato' Mohd Salleh Ismail
"It has been long-planned and not just because of the current situation. The police and military have not had a joint exercise for a long time. Because there are new procedures and laws regarding public order, we need to get together and see how we are to execute them. The old laws are from the 50s and now there are new procedures to handle demonstrators and public order. This is nothing to do with being worried about the current situation."
He laughed off suggestions that it was in anticipation of this Sunday's Pakatan Rakyat-backed anti-fuel hike demonstration which is aiming to see a million protestors turn up. But in explaining that it was police responsibility to handle demonstrations, Salleh seemed to be hitting home the message that the military want none of this and refuse to be implicated or involved in any of the intrigue surrounding current local politics. . . more
What have early Police interference done?
Bala, Najib, Razak Baginda
With his second SD of retraction, without explaining what was the “duress” which coerced him to make shocking disclosures linking Najib with Altantunya, Subramaniam has succeeded in making even those who had doubted his first SD to come around to believe it – while achieving very little effect in creating doubt among those who had believed his first SD.
Balasubramaniam’s lawyer for his first SD, Americk Singh Sidhu, told Malaysiakini that Balasubramaniam received a phone call from the police soon after his press conference yesterday to report to the Brickfields police station.

'Malaysia Today' hacked
Soon Li Tsin | Jul 2, 08 8:00pm | courtesy malaysiakini
If you click to open the Malaysia Today website just now, you will be greeted by a smiling Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad dressed in army fatigues, an obvious picture alteration to the Mel Gibson movie poster "We Were Soldiers."
The site, edited and owned by the controversial Raja Petra Kamarudin, was hacked since early this morning by a hacker simply known as Gasakdotnet.
Beware of "False" Perception.
The classical case was his announcement of 18 big sharks to be netted after the 2004 general election. The announcement then was parroted by the then Law Minister Hon. Rais Yatim. After the announcement - a big shark, the late Chairman of Pewaja was acquitted . Hon. Rais Yatim was then transferred to some ministry to take care of "cultural dancing" and "old buildings". So we had learned. . . . beware of perception, let us see the latest announcement on ACA and Judicial review - will not be another NFA.

Malaysians Perceive Corruption To Be Declining - Survey
The survey, which was done by the Statistics Department and funded by the Economic Planning Unit (EPU), showed that from the total 10 points of the corruption perception index, Malaysia scored 6.79 points compared to 5.10 points in Transparency International's index. The lower the figure the worse the situation. . . . more
Ezam’s diminishing role as a corruption whistle blower.
Ezam used to say he had six boxes of documents relating to corruptions to be revealed to the public. They were or are big sharks, corruptions of National scales involving National figures. The magnitude of corruptions we are talking about here will probably in sum total comes to easily in order of magnitude, billions of Malaysian Ringgit (RM).

This raises more questions than answers????Rosmah: I will not take action against Raja Petra.
“I have nothing to say. I have given my statement to the police and that’s it,” she said.
Asked if she would sue Raja Petra for defamation, she said she did not want to address unnecessary issues because she had other bigger things to attend to for the people and for the nation.
Asked why she would not address such a serious allegation, she said it did not matter. . . more
That reminds RPK
No, Abdullah Badawi was not talking about the people named in the Statutory Declaration (read it here). He was referring to the latest sodomy allegation against Anwar Ibrahim. “He will definitely deny it. That is common for someone who has been accused." Yes, but is this common only to Anwar Ibrahim? Would not Abdullah Badawi, his son-in-law, Najib, Rosmah, Col. Aziz and Col. Norhayati not also do the ‘common’ thing and also deny what was alleged in the Statutory Declaration?
Hmm….but did not Abdullah Badawi also say last week that he believes his Deputy Prime Minister Rosmah Mansor and her husband, Najib, are innocent? Well, he said this at least as far as Rosmah and her husband are concerned. But when it comes to Anwar Ibrahim he says, "The police are the ones who will determine whether the report is true or not. It is not something that we can determine. He will definitely deny it. That is common for someone who has been accused."
Abdullah Badawi has already ‘locked’ the police investigation and this will force the police to arrive at only one verdict. It is now impossible for the police to rule any other way other than declaring that the Statutory Declaration is false. That would be the only way to save the Prime Minister’s face and insulate him from controversy, or worse, from criminal charges.
Saiful in blue reported to police sodomised by DSAI
Have no fear, Malaysia Today is here, and once we get our hands on the evidence we will certainly reveal it to prove that the Inspector General of Police and Attorney-General conspired to fabricate evidence in Anwar Ibrahim’s 1998-1999 trials -- unless they get Anwar or me first of course. Anyway, if anything happens to Anwar or me then you will know why we were silenced. But the evidence will definitely not be silenced. It will still surface, with or without Anwar or me. And let the conspirators beware because they will have to face the wrath of the people. . . read it all

The Malaysian (people) representing Anwar - The trial of democracy
It was not about Anwar Ibrahim.
That does not mean that we do not support the cause of justice. He is entitled to the full protection of the law. He is entitled to a fair and comprehensive investigation, if one is required at all. He is entitled to a fair prosecution and, above all, he is entitled to a fair trial, if there is one.
In all of all that and more, he deserves our full support. But, fearing the worst, are we going to stop what we started if Anwar Ibrahim is taken down?
If Anwar, Round 2 has been brought on for political purpose, then let us show those who are pulling the strings, that race politics do not matter to us anymore.
Let them hear us, loud and clear: We are Malaysians, and only justice matters. . . . more

Will it get any prettier? Part 3
KUALA LUMPUR: Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad should be given every opportunity to defend himself over the allegations made by High Court Judge Datuk Ian Chin, said DAP chairman Karpal Singh.
chedet.com said :
3. What he (High Court Judge Datuk Ian Chin) did not reveal is that there is a police report against him for breaches of Judge's Code of Ethics in hearing a case in which he has a personal interest. He presided on a case involving Dato Syed Kechik without revealing that he believed Syed Kechik was responsible for detaining his father and brother 20 years before.
4. Chin joined Party Berjaya and lost twice. One of the objectives listed in Party Berjaya's manifesto was to expel Syed Kechik from Sabah. (Syed Kechik akan dikeluarkan dari Sabah). As a party member he must know Berjaya's hatred for Syed Kechik. This alone should have resulted in him excusing himself from hearing the case.

Malaysia's Anwar faces , sex claim (malay report)
— PRESS STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE —
June 29, 2008, SHAH ALAM, MALAYSIA
The police report lodged against me earlier today is a complete fabrication. I believe we are witnessing a repeat of the methods used against me in 1998 when false allegations were made under duress. This is clearly a desperate attempt by the Barisan Nasional regime to arrest the movement of the Malaysian people towards freedom, democracy and justice.
The report has been organized by interested parties to attack me in retaliation for evidence I have recently obtained implicating IGP Musa Hassan and the AG Gani Patail in misconduct including fabrication of evidence in the cases launched against me in 1998-1999. This vile attack will not prevent me from releasing this dossier to the public.
I urge the Malaysian people to stand against the repressive forces that will be unleashed by the government in the coming days and weeks. We expect the media, the judiciary and the police force to all come under the direct and unchecked control of the executive.
My fellow Malaysians - we took a bold step forward on March 8th towards a new dawn for freedom and justice for all of our citizens. This people’s movement for change must go on with all of our strength and conviction.
