Saya menerima berita mengenai nasib tuan yang dituduh dibawah Akta Hasutan 1948 dan kini ditahan reman dalam penjara Sg. Buloh sehingga kes disebut di mahkamah pada 6 Oktober 2008 dengan penuh kesedihan.

Bagaimanapun, jauh di hati saya, saya masih terasa kagum kerana di sana masih ada seorang sehebat tuan yang cekal mempertahankan apa yang difikirkan benar. . . . more

Estimated Population in Malaysia for 2007 – 27.17 million. (93% citizens; 7% non-citizens)

Malaysian citizens comprise

Bumiputera – 66.4%
Chinese - 24.9%
Indians - 7.5%
Others - 1.3%

“All states register the same trend, i.e. bumiputera being the biggest group except for Penang with bumiputera and Chinese almost at par i.e. 44.2 per cent and 44.8 respectively .

Selangor registers the highest population, i.e. 4.96 million (18.3%) followed by Johore 3.24 million (11.9%) and Sabah 3.06 million (11.3%). States with less than one million population are Negri Sembilan (0.98 million), Malacca (0.74 million), Perlis (0.23 million) and Federal Territory Labuan (0.09 million).

Parliamentarians lost their voices

It is shocking to read report that 29 parliamentarians lost their voices come Apr 28, 2008. Those Member of Parliament failed to submit their parliamentary questions to be asked in the first Parliament session (after the 12th Malaysia General Election) to be held on Apr 28, 2008.

Of the 29 MP who are shy to talk, 15 are from Barisan Nasional, 5 are from DAP and 9 are from PKR. Surprisingly, PAS MP are not in the list. Good job PAS.

However, BALKIS was formed as a welfare organization to serve the rakyat of Selangor not UMNO. The wifes of PKR MPs could always fill in the positions in BALKIS and continue their work, that is to serve the rakyat.

Just imagine if the opposition parties rule Malaysia, is UMNO going to dissolve Bank Negara and transfered the nation's money elsewhere ? That would not be right. . . . read more
