THINKING OUT LOUD

A couple of years ago I had set up a wifi system around my house but it was down, I am thinking of making another one and I am going to name it "wifi republic".

I am going to re-organize my blogs too, now I am testing some templates, trying and testing them at this stage. I am trying to fully utilized the latest blogspot editor. Not doubt that they are better with many needs that are taken care of. However the new blogspot editor lack fluidity where we can used different blog templates for different categories of posts or entries.

However I had thought of this new format. Try
anak matlesen to see the new format. The present PERWI is slightly messy as I had attempted to master the new blogspot editor. I think by doing that I had taken extra "memories".

I am still in the learning curve and I may not proceed with the present idea for I have to evaluate either to follow the existing system that blogspot new editor provide or do the necessary such as amending the html on the free template that I had obtained satisfactorily to get a system that I want.

Penyatuan Melayu: Syed Ali bidas Presiden MCA pertikai titah Tengku Mahkota Kelantan

Comments:

“Saya berharap jangan kerana kepentingan politik, hak dan kuasa politik orang Melayu perlu dipersoalkan dan kedaulatan serta maruah Raja-Raja Melayu pula hendak diperlekehkan secara terbuka" kata Syed ali

[helllooo syed ali, throughout the election, the non-BN have not questioned the dignity of raja dan agong. we were only questioning the BN policy and want to have a change of govt. read our lips , change or Govt and not the whole group of the raja, sultan and Agong. pls remember the group that protested the Agong's decision and called the Agong "natang" are non other than UMNO. UMNO was the group who have not respected the perlembagaan and almost wanting to rebel against the Agong. this is called treason and if there is any punishment to be passed on, it should be passed on to UMNO. well if you think that Ong Ka Ting has committed treason and made seditious statement, invoke ISA lah to jail Ong Ka Ting. Is okie, i will fully support that. but please, get the same group from terengganu to be jailed under ISA ruling as well. see now MCA, UMNO thinks that you are a liability now] . . . . read more

My version of the truth

The alternative media are not as untouchable as the public may think, Information Minister Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek said on Tuesday. As such, he said, even though the people had the right to write whatever they wish through Blogs and other online media, they could still be subjected to actions under the law if they defame others.

Anyway, back to the issue of the day. First of all, Blogs and the Internet media are not the ‘alternative media’. According to the media baron, Rupert Murdock, by the year 2030, the print media would be rendered extinct and by then the electronic media would have fully taken over the market. Going by the media taiko’s reckoning, the electronic media is fast becoming the mainstream media while the print media is on its way out.

Okay, take note of the politically-correct words and phrases to use. We are the ‘electronic media’. We are not the ‘alternative media’. And what the government calls the ‘alternative media’ is going to completely take over the market of what the government calls the ‘mainstream media’. If they really need to define which is which, then the politically-correct terms would be ‘government-owned media’ and ‘independent media’. Yes, the so-called ‘mainstream media’ is actually the ‘government-controlled media’ while the so-called ‘alternative media’ is the ‘independent media’. . .read more

Tue, 15 Apr 2008 04:00:34

He meant that if a conflict breaks out anywhere else in the world, there are no fully ready Army units that could be sent to handle it.

Also last week USA Today reported that at least one in eight US Army's new recruits had a criminal record or other past misconducts that requires a waiver to join the army.

The increase reflects the difficulties the US army faces in attracting young men and women into the military.

G7 ministers meeting in Washington
The G7 has met ahead of the World Bank and IMF weekend meetings

The G7 group of most industrialised nations has approved a plan aimed at easing the continuing crisis in the global credit markets.

Earlier this week the International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecast that the US would enter a "mild recession" in 2008 and said that the credit crunch could cost banks and other financial institutions around $1 trillion.

The weakening US economy has been a major factor in pushing down the value of the dollar, which slipped to a 15-year low against the pound earlier in the week.

Meanwhile the pound has fallen sharply against the euro. . . . read more
